Buddy Todd Park in Oceanside opened in 1929 (it’s Oceanside’s oldest park!). The park was renamed in 1946 for John “Buddy” Todd, the first Oceanside resident to give his life for his country in World War II. Weddings can be held here and it has restrooms. It features a playground (with a train structure), a walking-hiking trail, a large grassy area, and a full-court basketball court.
