There are more than 150 parks in San Diego with basketball hoops, but it can be hard to find a park near you with an outdoor basketball court! You can search our database for parks in your area with basketball courts by clicking here, or scroll down to learn how to search.
Here are just some of the best parks in San Diego that have basketball:
Civita Park has two half-court basketball courts (next to each other). There is a parking lot and lots of street parking. There are also restrooms, although they aren’t *super* close to the courts.
Martin Luther King Jr. Park
Martin Luther King Jr. Park has FULL-court basketball courts. There is a parking lot and lots of street parking, and there are restrooms. I haven’t visited this park since did the after-school camp when I was in elementary school, so you can read more about it here until I can get back to blog about it!
Search for Parks with Basketball Courts
Here’s a tip: after you click on one of the links above, you can refine your search further by selecting your location and other amenities you’d like (including bathrooms and bbq grills).
There are 27 parks in South San Diego with basketball courts and bathrooms. I found this by searching for the basketball courts tag, and then selecting “South” under location and “Bathrooms” under amenities. You can refine the location even more by clicking the plus sign next to a location to show subcategories (Paradise Hills, Chula Vista, etc).
